This award, which honours the memory of a PDAC past president, is presented annually at the association’s annual convention to a person or team who has/have made an important contribution to the prospecting and/or exploration industry. Osisko was recognized for its discovery and ambitious expansion of the gold resource on the Canadian Malartic property and for the company’s determination to move ahead to production in 2010.

The Association de l’Exploration Minière du Québec (“AEMQ”) presented the Fonds Restor-Action Nunavik (“FRAN”) with the e3 Award (Environmental Excellence in Exploration) which recognizes the high level of environmental and social responsibility as well as its compliance with e3 best practices developed for exploration activities by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (“PDAC”). The AEMQ recognized the FRAN in which Mr. André Gaumond is involved.
